Vintage Original 1967 Rick Griffin San Mezcalito Blacklight Poster

This is a 1967 Vintage Original Blacklight Poster by the Artist Rick Griffin entitled "San Mescalito (Huichol Indian). It measures 21" X 28 1/4" and is not one of the glossy off-colored reprints of the 70's. This is one of the first of the celebratory drug posters that would be manufactured from the late 60's into the early 80's. It has the words "SAN MEZCALITO, THE PATRON AND PROTECTOR OF ALL THOSE SOULS WHO DIG HERBS CREATED BY GOD TO ENLIGHTEN THE MINDS OF MEN". It was Silk Screened by Royal Screen Craft Inc. for Cocorico Graphics of Los Angeles CA

the Poster has some wear on it; all of the blue markings are caused by scratches, and the corners have pin holes, but it is still highly displayable and worthy of matting and framing
