Vintage 1940’s Ward’s Airline Midget Bakelite Tube Radio -Works

This Vintage 1940's Airline Midget Radio measures 7 1/2" wide, 5 1/2" high and 4 1/2" deep. It powers up quickly, tunes in easily and plays loudly, but it sounds a little fuzzy. The original printed frequency numbers are missing and have been replaced with a slip of paper with handwritten numbers on it. the power/volume knob on the left has been replaced with a smaller one from another radio and there is a crack and chip in the bakelite at the lower left front corner (this isn't easily seen when sitting on a shelf due to its location and the oversized knob that is positioned in front of it). It has an 8' cord with a chipped plug that has been puttied over

I like radios, but I'm not a radio guy. I have given as much information about the overall condition of this radio as I am, with my limited knowledge, able to. We therefore will be selling this radio As Is with not Returns allowed. Please inspect the pictures carefully and ask questions if needed
