Victorian Era Black Leather, Button-Up Baby Shoes

From that much romanticized age of Consumption, work houses and Jack the Ripper we have this splendid pair of Victorian baby shoes. All of the buttons are still in place and none of the eye holes are damaged. the leather is a little dry and there are some slight surface cracks that would be typical if they were currently being worn. The heels are intact and stitching is all solid. They measure: 5 1/2" across the bottom, 3" high from heel to the back top of shoe and 2" across the bottom

These would make an excellent shelf piece, or would provide functional footwear for anyone who likes to take a half an hour putting their baby's shoes on
